With Orange County still in California’s “Purple” Covid-19 tier, the 2021 Basketball Winter League has been moved to the spring and will now start in April. The ‘Learn-to-Play’ Basketball Team Training program has been canceled at this time and is planned to relaunch later in the year.

We look forward to providing top-notch recreational youth sports leagues to all participants in the safest manner possible.

On November 16th, Governor Newsom moved Orange County into the COVID-19 Purple tier and the county has remained there since. Due to this change and to ensure the health and safety of participants, we are postponing the start of 2020-21 Winter League. The California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) has also delayed Fall sports and doesn’t plan to announce new dates until January.

As a result, we have updated the calendar of events on our website and have tentatively moved the evaluations date to February 21st and first week of games to February 28th. The season is now expected to run from February through April 2021: These dates are subject to change based on the county’s health guidelines, and any future changes will be updated on the Calendar of Events.

We look forward to returning to normal play as soon as possible. This change only affects our Basketball Winter League – not any of our outdoor programs – since it’s not possible to play indoor sports in Orange County at this time.

Our priority is the safety of our players and families within the community. If you are interested in reading our Return-to-Play guidelines and protocols you can review them here:

Thank you for your continued support during these difficult times, and we look forward to seeing everyone back on the indoor courts soon.
