There have been a few schedule changes to accommodate coaches with multiple teams. Please make sure to double check the schedule to see if your game times have changed.

Home and Away: When reading the schedule please note that the schedule reads as away at home. This means the first team listed (top) should arrive wearing black while the 2nd team (bottom) should wear white. The Home team sits to the right of the scoretable.

Our first 3×3 tournament consisting of half court 3-on-3 basketball games for boys and girls of all skill levels. Players submit their own teams of 3-4 players.

Team Formation and Communication: All teams have been uploaded in TeamSnap. If you have not accepted your invitation please do so as all communication for the Winter League will take place through TeamSnap. Additionally many coaches utilize the chat feature to communicate with their team, which is something we encourage. If you do not hear from your coach by Thursday please let us know.

 Rookie League Format and how to read the schedule

Saturday only commitment – 90 minute time slot consisting of a 30 min  practice/clinic led by our staff followed by a game.
Example: If a team is scheduled at 10:30a that team would have a practice clinic from 10:30a – 11:00a followed by a game at 11:00a ending around 12:00p (90 min time slot).  Please make sure to arrive on time as the clinic will start promptly at the scheduled time. If you are late please look for your team’s coach and join in their team line.

Jerseys: During the Winter season all players receive a SoCal Elite Jersey. We build bundles for the coaches to pick up such that there are no duplicate numbers on your team. This is to help with the table tracking fouls and participation rules. All team bundles should be out by Friday.

Double Headers: Please make sure to check the schedule each week to see if your team has a double header. Each week one team in these divisions will have an extra game:

The easiest way to see your team game times is to click on your division and select your team in the Teams dropdown menu. Clicking on the blue arrow on the right will make the scheduler show only your games.

Preseason Player EvaluationsPlayer Evaluations are an important part of our leagues and integral in building competitive teams.
Players who do not attend Evaluations will be automatically placed on the wait list.
They may only be placed on a team if we have enough parent volunteers in your child’s division.

Check-in: All players check-in in the Practice Gym
Players cannot attend another division’s time. Evaluations are for coaches and they will not see any players in a different division.
Do not leave with your player IDs. Once the group your child is in is completed the SoCal Elite Staff trainer will take your ID number. Once this is done you are able to leave (with the exception of coaches)
Attending Evaluations is mandatory. Registered Parent Coaches need to be able to view all players to build competitive teams.

Due to Veterans Day on Nov 11th and with numerous families contacting us, we have delayed Evaluations by 1 week. Evaluations will now take place Nov 17th.
