Our players’, staff’s, and families’ safety and health are a top priority. We would like to ask you all for your cooperation and patience as we want to provide a comfortable and fun environment for all of our participants. Thank you in advance!
Mask Guidelines
- Mask policy: Players are required to have face coverings on when not participating in activity (ex. Walking into the gym, leaving the gym, on the sidelines). Players can take off face coverings to eat and drink. Players are still highly encouraged to keep mask coverings on during activity as long as it does not interfere with their breathing and well-being.
- Face coverings must be worn by coaches, support staff and observers at all times indoors.
- Observers maintain at least 6 feet from non-household members.
- No sharing of drink bottles and other personal items and equipment.
- We want to try to keep indoor capacity (which includes all players, coaches, and observers) to a minimum. That is why we are asking each player to bring in minimal family members to spectate indoors.
Those who do not adhere to these guidelines will be asked by our staff to leave the facility and wait outside.
We are excited for the upcoming 2022 Winter Volleyball League! Please email us at [email protected] if you have questions or concerns. We look forward to seeing you next year!

Preseason Update 1
We are excited for our first Winter Volleyball League! Here are some quick updates before our start date.
Location: Irvine High School Gym
Address/Map Link: 4321 Walnut Ave, Irvine, CA 92604
Parking is available in the back parking lot off Escolar street.
There are two gyms located at Irvine High School. The game gym is the closest to the front parking lot and the practice gym is closest to the back parking lot.
We will have Player Evaluations on Saturday, January 8th, 2022. This gives our coaches an opportunity to observe each player’s volleyball ability and knowledge before teams are formed by the following week. Teams will be formed by our coaches to provide a competitive and fun experience for all. Each division will have an hour time slot to come by the Irvine High School Gym to get evaluated by our coaches. Our overall goal is to have each player increase their volleyball game over the 6 week period, but most importantly, have fun!
More information about Evaluations will be sent leading up to the date. Those who volunteered to be Evaluation Coordinators will be contacted separately on how you will be helping out that day.
Following Evaluations, The League will run for 6 weeks from January 15th to February 19th on Saturdays. Each week there will be an hour and a half session for players to get an opportunity to practice and play scrimmages/games. Practices will be run by our volleyball coaching staff and assisted by our Team Manager volunteers. After practice is over, it is immediately followed by teams playing scrimmages/games. Depending on the division’s volleyball ability, there might be modifications to the games to provide the best experience (serve from anywhere on the court, coach initiated ball, allow a bounce, height of net, more than three contacts, etc.). Records will not be kept. There will be three divisions (Please arrive 15 mins before start time):
- Division 3 (4th-5th grade)
- Division 2 (6th-7th grade)
- Division 1 (8th-9th grade)
We will provide volleyballs for players to use. With our League back indoors, our players’ health and safety is of utmost importance. We ask players to bring minimal family members to ensure as much physical distancing as possible. We encourage spectators to stay outdoors for our practices but if you would like to go inside, we require all spectators to wear a mask and observe from the bleachers. Spectators that do not follow our guidelines will be asked to leave the facility.
Teams: Teams will be formed following Evaluations by our coaching staff to provide the best and competitive experience for all players. If there are enough players in your division, we will build an intermediate and beginner bracket.
Schedule: Our schedule will be sent out over winter break. Practice/Game times will be dependent on the number of players in a division and gym availability. Please expect your practice/game time to be played within the time slot of 2:30pm-7pm on Saturdays during the 6 week league. Once the league schedule is finalized your TeamSnap schedule will be updated and there will be a notice sent out to all players registered.
