Leagues
The schedule for the final week of play has been updated. We could not predict where teams would end up and changes were made to ensure coaches with multiple teams could attend their games. Please double check the schedule: https://socalelite.org/leagues/schedules/#view
The score table will have a team lamppost pizza party certificate for each coach to pick up after their game.
As a reminder parents should not be approaching the score table. If there are any issues with your game please talk to your coach. Only coaches can approach the table but all rule clarifications should be handled with the referees. We always encourage rule clarifications to be made before tip off or during a timeout/end of quarter.
Registration for the Summer Drop in League is still open!
https://socalelite.org/leagues/summer/
The schedule for the last 2 weeks of the season is now live! Please note that this weekend is the start of bracket play.
Link: https://socalelite.org/leagues/schedules/
Placement in the bracket was determined by overall standings throughout the season. Brackets can be found on the schedule page near the bottom of the page above season standings. Games on May 17th are subject to change as we may need to move games to accommodate coaches with multiple teams.
How to view your brackets on mobile: In the small section labeled brackets above standings there is a black box to click on to expand it to full screen. In some divisions there is also a drop down menu. If you do not see your team in a bracket please navigate to the 2nd or 3rd bracket in the drop down menu.
How to read your brackets: Teams that win will advance to the right, while teams that lose will move to the left. Please review the bracket all the way.
Special: If you are in a round robin bracket (3 teams) one team will be playing a double header on the 17th.
The schedule for week 3 and 4 is now live!
https://socalelite.org/leagues/schedules/#view
As a reminder multiple divisions have double headers. Please make sure to review your schedule. By clicking on your team name all of your games will be displayed.
Please continue to help us to provide a positive experience for all involved by continuing to practice good sportsmanship.
Week 2 games take place this Sunday. Please make sure to double check the schedule and check if your team has a double header.
https://socalelite.org/leagues/schedules/#view
As a reminder all teams should practice good sportsmanship. This is a recreational league and we do not condone taunting or overly aggressive play. Please make sure to be mindful to provide a positive experience for all involved.
We cannot work on the schedule for Weeks 3 and 4 until after games take place on Sunday. Schedules should be out by Wednesday, April 22nd.
The schedule for the first 2 weeks of play is now live! https://socalelite.org/leagues/schedules/#view
Adding Family Members: if you would like to add a family member to your account to receive information regarding your team you may do so yourself by following these steps: https://helpme.teamsnap.com/article/108-add-family-or-contacts-to-a-profile
As a reminder all players will need to wear a SoCal Elite Sports reversible jersey to their games. If you need to order a new one you may do so on our website under the gear tab.
The Schedule for Week 1 of the Spring League is now live! We will have the schedule for Week 2 out by end of day Monday April 6th. Please be aware that your time slot consists of a practice/clinic led by our staff (30 min) followed by a game. For week 1 all teams are required to take part in the clinic.
Schedule: https://socalelite.org/leagues/schedules/#view
Important note on schedule: We will not make changes to the schedule after Fridays of each week. Please make sure to double check your games every Friday. Additionally, if your coach is putting the game times into TeamSnap you should still double check the schedule on the website as any changes we make will not be reflected in TeamSnap.
What to bring to League each week
1. SoCal Elite Reversible Jersey – if you do not have a jersey you may order on our website here: https://socalelite.org/shop/
2. Athletic attire (shorts, close toed shoes)
3. Basketball (27.5″)
Rookie League Format
Sunday only commitment – 90 minute time slot consisting of a practice/clinic led by our staff followed by a game. There are no schedule requests.
Special note for Boys Kinder:
The format is a little different with 3 teams. Each team will have a clinic on the side while the other two teams play a half. Teams are rotated so each team will play 2 halves and have a clinic in the same time slot. The team scheduled vs themselves will start with the clinic each week.
Example: BK1 vs BK2 will start off with a game (1 half) while BK3 is holding a clinic. After the 1st half BK1 will rotate out and BK2 will play BK3. After that half BK2 will rotate out and BK1 will play BK3.
