2026 Basketball Summer Drop-In League

Dates: June 28th – Aug. 2nd, 2026 (skip July 5th; Aug. 9th, if needed)
Rookie division: K/1st
Youth divisions: 2nd/3rd, 4th/5th, 6th–8th grade
Five Games: Sundays after 10 AM
Teams shuffled each week
Locations: Irvine & Tustin gyms
Start times: Between 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM (no schedule or location requests)

Sat, June 27th: Registration closes

Sun, June 28th: Week 1 games

Sun, July 5th: NO GAMES (Independence Day Weekend)

Sun, July 12th: Week 2 games
Sun, July 19th: Week 3 games
Sun, July 26th: Week 4 games
Sun, Aug. 2nd: Week 5 games

Sun, Aug. 10th: If needed

Refund Policy

Registrants who contact SoCal Elite Sports by June 22nd will receive a refund less $50. In the event SoCal Elite cannot place your child on a team, a full refund will be provided.

Any request to withdraw after June 22nd will be ineligible for a refund. For extraordinary circumstances, SoCal Elite may provide a registrant with credit towards a future league or sports program, limited to injury or illness. Submit a credit request via our contact form.

– Include your name, your child’s name, grade and reason for withdrawing.
– Include proof of injury or illness.

If you have any issues during the season, please communicate in the following order as soon as possible:

– Division Commissioner

Basketball Team Camp

The Basketball Summer Team Camp is focused primarily on games. Players will be placed on teams to practice game situations. Players will receive instruction from coaches to review each game on both the individual and team aspects of play.

Refund Policy

There are no refunds for Volleyball League registrations. For extraordinary circumstances, SoCal Elite may provide a registrant with credit towards a future league or sports program.

Player Evaluations (4th–9th Grade)

Preseason player evaluations for 4th–9th grade divisions are mandatory. If your child does not attend to one of the league's evaluation opportunities, he or she will be placed on the waiting list without a refund.

In the event your child cannot be placed on a team after attending evaluations, a full refund will be provided.

Non-Volunteer Buyout Fee

SoCal Elite is always looking for parent volunteer volleyball coaches and player evaluations coordinators for all seasonal leagues. If you are unable to, or do not want to, volunteer to help operate SoCal Elite’s volleyball leagues efficiently, you are required to pay a ‘buyout fee’ to cover the cost of bringing on additional staff members.
