Volleyball Leagues
Hello Parents,
As a reminder, there will be no league practice or matches tomorrow, April 4th. Week 1 of the Spring League season will be the following Saturday, April 11th.
Team Rosters/Schedule: Teams have been built, https://socalelite.org/volleyball/teams/ (Search player’s name under appropriate division). If you are a parent who volunteered to coach, please make a note of which team you are assigned to. If your child did not attend Evaluations, they were placed on a team randomly. The schedule for each division will be found on the right hand side of the page. Please use the drop-down feature to view. The schedule has also been updated on each division’s TeamSnap Schedule.
Communication/Updates: Please check your email weekly throughout the season for any updates or potential location/schedule changes. We send all of our emails via TeamSnap. You can always refer to our updates page here, https://socalelite.org/volleyball/updates/#leagues.
Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns. Have an amazing weekend!
Hi Parents,
Thank you to those that attended this past Saturday’s Player Evaluation/Introduction to Skills! As a reminder, there will be a break the next two weekends due to IUSD/TUSD spring break and Easter. Our first week of play will be on Saturday, April 11th.
Communication/Updates: Please check your email weekly throughout the season for any updates or potential location/schedule changes. All emails will be sent through TeamSnap. You can always refer to our updates page here where all emails are posted after they are sent, https://socalelite.org/volleyball/updates/#leagues.
We are currently working on building all the rosters and finalizing the schedule. Both the rosters and schedule will be published by the end of next week. Thank you in advance for your patience! We understand families are eager to find out their schedule to plan accordingly. Our organization is awaiting confirmation from the district and city. In the spring, we want to make sure to avoid potential scheduling conflict with the various high schools with important events such as Irvine Juniors Games, AP Testing, CIF playoffs, Graduation etc.
If interested, registration for our Two-Day Spring Break Volleyball Camp next week is still open with several spots left to sign up for, https://socalelite.org/volleyball/camps/. We hope you can join us!

Hi Parents,
This Saturday kicks off our 2026 Spring Volleyball League. Please review our preseason page for details if you have not done so already about our Player Evaluations/Intro to Skills Clinic: https://socalelite.org/volleyball/preseason/. [Location/Parking Info found at the bottom of the page].
Date: Saturday, March 21st
Location: University High School Main Gym
Address: 4771 Campus Dr, Irvine, CA 92612
Preseason Skills Clinic/Player Evaluation will be conducted by grade level:
4th-6th grade: 3:00PM to 4:30PM
7th-9th grade: 4:30PM to 6:00PM
Please plan to arrive 10-15 mins before your child’s start time. All players will need to get checked in and receive an ID Tag. Dynamic warm-up will begin promptly at listed start time. Within the 1.5 hour skills clinic, players will be introduced and evaluated on foundations in passing, setting, hitting, and serving. Players are recommended to bring their own water/refreshments and wear comfortable athletic apparel (athletic shorts, rubber-soled closed toed shoes and short sleeves – no jeans or sandals). If you have already received your blue volleyball jersey, you are more than welcome to wear it but it will not be required for this Saturday.
Everyone should have received a TeamSnap invite to join the 2026 Spring Volleyball League. Please notify us if you are experiencing issues with TeamSnap or did not receive this invite. Also please double check your TeamSnap profile to make sure your child’s name and grade are correct. If not, please contact us to fix this immediately.
Throughout the season we will be sending out emails through TeamSnap. You can find all of our most recent updates posted on our website under “Volleyball Leagues”: https://socalelite.org/volleyball/updates/#leagues.
Hello Parents,
Thank you for registering for our 2026 Spring Volleyball League! Here are some quick updates before our start date.
We will have Player Evaluations/Intro to Skills next Saturday, March 21st. During Evaluations, our coaching staff will be introducing basic fundamentals in passing, setting, hitting, serving, and team systems. This gives our coaches an opportunity to observe each player’s volleyball ability and knowledge before teams are formed by Week 1 of practice/scrimmages. Teams will be formed by our coaches to provide a competitive and fun experience for all. Players will have a designated hour and a half time slot to get evaluated by our coaches based on grade level/division.
For Player Evaluations/Intro to Skills details please visit our preseason page here, https://socalelite.org/volleyball/preseason/.
Those who volunteered to be Evaluation Coordinators or Volunteer Coaches will be contacted separately on how you will be helping out during the league.
Following Evaluations, The League will run for 6 weeks from April 11th through May 16th on Saturdays. Please review our calendar of events, https://socalelite.org/volleyball/spring/#about. In the case of schedule/location issues due to unforeseen events (high school event, city event, extreme weather, etc.), the league may need to reschedule weeks of play at a later time. Each week players will have 2 hours to get an opportunity to practice and play scrimmages/games. Practices will be run by our volleyball coaching staff and assisted by our Parent Volunteer Coaches.
League Scrimmages: Each week after the time allocated to practice/clinic, it is immediately followed by teams playing scrimmages/games. Depending on the division’s volleyball ability, there might be modifications to the games to provide the best experience (serve from anywhere on the court, coach initiated ball, height of net, etc.). Records will not be kept. Please expect for practices to be longer at the beginning of the league (weeks 1-3) as we want to make sure players have a greater understanding of how to play the game. As the league progresses, more time will be designated to play. The full duration of Week 6 (last week) will be designated to play scrimmages/games.
Teams: Teams will be formed following Evaluations by our coaching staff to provide the best and competitive experience for all players. Teams can be Co-Ed and formed by dispersing talent as evenly as possible to ensure fairness – they are not limited by the number of boys or girls on each team. If there are enough players in your division, we will build an intermediate and beginner bracket. Divisions may be modified based on number of registrants.
Location: We are still waiting for all gym permits/approval from the City and District. However, it looks like we will be utilizing Northwood High School and University High School starting between 2:00PM to 6:00PM on Saturdays during this season. Typically our younger divisions will play earlier in the day followed by our older divisions.
Schedule: Our schedule for the whole season will be sent out after teams are formed. Practice/Game times will be dependent on the number of players in a division and gym availability. Please expect your practice/game time to be played within the time slot of 2:00PM to 6:00PM on Saturdays during this season. Typically our younger divisions will play first followed by our older divisions (4th-6th grade followed by 7th-9th grade).
If you have any questions or concerns about any information explained above, please do not hesitate to contact us.
